The “PHOENIX” line up is as follows:-
Dave Weir – Keyboards, Guitar and Vocals
Dave has had a varied musical career which started in The Lake District and progressed through Bands in Newcastle and Liverpool before he finally settled in Cambridgeshire with “PHOENIX”. Dave specialises in Keyboard work with the band, but occasionally applies his unique guitar style to certain numbers.
Ken Johnson – Bass Guitar and Vocals
Co-Founder of the band with Dave; Ken is a formidable bass player who also serves as the band’s Sound and Light technician. He has played for several successful bands in the London and Cambridgeshire area before forming “PHOENIX”.
Terry Vials – Drums
Terry has played drums professionaly for several famous bands for many years. He is the perfect “Anchor man” for the band and exhibits excellent technique during the band’s performances.
Tony Frier – Vocals and Lead Guitar
Tony is a brilliant guitarist whose solo work is second to none. An experienced professional since 1970, he has played in numerous bands in the past. He has been with “PHOENIX” for over 5 years and also has a fine vocal voice, which he uses to great effect.
